Learn My History Foundation celebrated our inaugural "Passing the Torch of Excellence" event! This marked the first Youth Advisory Board graduation that also launched our new STEAM education. LMH detailed how the three programs that students and families participated in, has expanded into full one-year curriculums. This graduation celebrated our mission, as participants shared their program benefits, some while wearing their graduation caps and gowns. The event was held at the Sarasota Seventh-day Adventist Church, where all faiths gathered. See the Observer's article above!
We Believe In
Mentoring can help to solve some of what LMH students are dealing with, to increase their mental health, for both 'At risk' AND privileged. Mentorship opportunities engage our students in social activities and situations, which stretch their communication and interactive skills, and creates connections with other cultures, social status, and experiences. Our programs to date, have served over 200 youth and U.S. families representing 18 countries.
